Santa Monica Seafood CEO Roger O'Brien predicts tough times will continue into 2021 due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. But 2020 also saw many seafood companies collaborating better than in years past, he recently told IntraFish.

"I hope this continues and we can continue to help each other," he said. "I also hope the industry will band together to address a national marketing effort to support increased seafood consumption and to distinguish our real seafood products vis-à-vis cell-based products and plant-based imitation products."
