US quick-service seafood restaurant chain Long John Silver's said Monday it has completed its sixth consecutive quarter of same-store sales growth, and posted record-breaking average unit sales volumes in 2021.

The restaurant chain said over the last two years it grew total system sales by 2.5 percent year-over-year. It did not, however, reveal what its annual sales are.

The growth is attributable to improved performance of its drive-thru operations, the addition of delivery and online ordering for pick up, and solid performance of core menu items such as fish and chicken family meals, the company said.
