US restaurant chain Benihana is asking a California court to throw out a class action lawsuit alleging the company fails to disclose on "in-store menus" that its products do not contain crab meat.

The plaintiffs say Benihana advertises its Shrimp Lovers Roll, Shrimp Crunchy Roll, Alaskan Roll, Dragon Roll, Chili Shrimp Roll, Rainbow Roll, Spider Roll, Sumo Roll Baked, Lobster Roll and the California Roll as containing crab meat, but that these sushi rolls only include imitation crab called "kani kama crab" instead of real crab meat.
