Skretting's new CEO, Bastiaan van Tilburg, said he will focus on growth in India, China and Africa and invest in novel ingredients, digitalization and land-based farming as part of his strategy for growing the global feed company.
Van Tilburg became CEO on June 1, replacing CEO Therese Log-Bergjord, who led Nutreco-owned Skretting for seven years.
Growth across species, regions
For Skretting to grow further in aquaculture, van Tilburg sees opportunities to strengthen the company's positions in the shrimp and salmon sectors, and in new high-value species as well.
