Norway-based Koppernaes Protein has acquired the remaining shares of Danish feed ingredient company TripeNine from a subsidiary of fishmeal and oil producer FF Skagen.

Under the deal, Koppernaes Protein acquired just over 98 percent of FF Skagen subsidiary H.F. Industrifiskehandel's shares in TripleNine Group.

Koppernaes has gradually increased its ownership in TripleNine Group in recent years, and was already the TripleNine's majority owner.

TripleNine posted revenue of DKK 2 billion (€268 million/$288 million) and employs 300 staff.
