Norwegian firm Koppernaes increased its stake in Danish fishmeal and fish oil firm TripleNine by taking over 63 percent of the shares in Triple Fish, one of the two 50 percent shareholders in TripleNine Group.

With the purchase, which went through on Oct. 6, Koppernaes became a majority owner of TripleNine Group.

Kenneth Lande Klokk, CEO of Koppernaes, said TripleNine Group will continue doing business as usual, and it will continue to invest in supporting and developing the production in Denmark as in the other two factories of the group.
