The US Department of Agriculture (USDA) has released a bid solicitation for 7.258 million pounds of Alaska pollock fish sticks and fillets to be used for the agency's National School Lunch program and other Federal Food and Nutrition Assistance Programs.

The USDA is seeking to purchase up to $20 million (€17.6 million) worth of pollock, according to the Genuine Alaska Pollock Producers (GAPP).
