Austrian startup Revo Foods, which specializes in 3D food printing, closed its first funding round of €1.5 million ($1.8 million), which its CEO says will advance the development of its 3D-printing capabilities for smoked salmon and more.

"We hope that we can start selling the first products in Austria by late summer/fall, starting from Vienna and soon also in other European cities," Revo Foods' 29-year-old founder and CEO, Robin Simsa, told IntraFish.
