When Pescatore Seafood opened its retail seafood shop in New York City’s historic Grand Central Terminal more than 15 years ago, its owners started with a simple philosophy: “If you can go to the highest-end restaurant and have a piece of seafood, you should be able to buy the same seafood at our store.”

That philosophy has served Pescatore well over the years; the fishmonger is recognized as one of New York City’s finest seafood outlets, recently receiving high marks from Zagat in its 2012/2013 New York City Food Lover’s Guide, where it was described as the “perfect stop for fish on the way home from work.”
