Ecuador's global monthly shrimp exports rose 18 percent in August from a year earlier to 217.4 million pounds, numbers from Ecuadorian shrimp producers' trade body Camara Nacional de Aquacultura (CNA) show.
The growth was led by increased shipments to Ecuador's main markets in China, the United States and Europe.
