The famed Sydney Fish Market presented its 2015 Seafood Excellence Awards late last week, recognizing 13 New South Wales, Australia, seafood players in nine categories at the biennial award program.
The prized People’s Choice Award for Best Seafood Restaurant went to the Fish Cafe by Balgowlah Seafood — for the second time in a row. The secret, co-owner Con Ioannides told The Daily Telegraph, is keeping it simple and consistent.
“We always use fresh produce from our seafood shop downstairs,” he said.
