IF THE equipment is advertised ‘as is’, then it could be in any condition. It might break down tomorrow; it might last 10 years. Machines in this category carry the highest risk but might also be the cheapest. Additionally, ‘good’, ‘very good’ or ‘excellent’ may be included, but there is no real assurance on the quality of the product.
‘Overhauled’ means that the equipment has been inspected and alterations made; minor visual defects will have been removed and some parts may have been replaced.
