Fish sauce from the small Vietnamese island of Phu Quoc is now being distributed all over the world.

Phu Quoc is the biggest island of Vietnam. Situated in the Gulf of Siam, it is now becoming a well known holiday resort. However, before that, it was world famous for just one product: nuoc mam (fish sauce) made from anchovy.
The product from this island, widely regarded as being the best there is, has been awarded protected designation of origin.
