Nova Scotia-based BioNovations and Live Ship Logistics partnered in a deal to use new and more efficient seafood shipping containers, according to CBC News. The crates self-regulate for smoother transportation for live seafood, which will reduce shipping mortality rates.

CEO Joe Boudreau anticipates increased demand for live seafood in Europe, Asia and parts of the United States with the new containers, according to the news site.
