The Miscou Fish Product plant in New Brunswick was destroyed by a fire that ripped through the facility Thursday.
No one was injured.
Local media reports reported a cleaning crew was on site preparing for the next day when they smelled something burning and noticed smoke coming from the roof.
The plant, which was expanded last year, employed 108 people. The facility processed snow crab and other Atlantic Canada seafood.
