Hitting gold with new industry standard

EUROPEAN food inspection and certification body EFSIS has launched a new food risk management assessment, called EFSIS Gold.

"Efsis Gold is a new product designed to take food suppliers to the next level," explains Carole Payne, Efsis food director. "When we surveyed our customers last year, a majority said they would be interested in a premium food service with added benefits over and above industry-wide standards.

Efsis Gold is our response to that demand. It is not a new standard. In fact, it is not a standard at all, but a management tool."
