The Newport, Oregon city council voted unanimously last week to move forward with the sale of a seafood processing facility and wharf to Bellingham, Washington-based Bornstein Seafoods, according to Newport News TImes.

The vote green-lit a purchase and sale agreement draft for the two-story building and property owned by the city, according to the news site.

Oregon city council expects to finalize the $1.7 million (€1.6 million) deal next Tuesday.
