The rapid development of the South African retailer, Woolworths, has led to parallel growth for Grey's Marine, the fishing company that supplies the chain with fresh and frozen fish. Claire Attwood gives us the low-down from the company's new factory
Last year saw well-known South African food and clothing retailer Woolworths increase its food trading space by 12.7% with a further 23% planned by June 2008. At the same time, Grey's Marine sold its long-established processing plant in the fishing harbour of Hout Bay and consolidated its investments in a rapidly growing factory closer to the city centre.
