Norwegian salmon farmers began reducing production capacity at several facilities last week as quarantine recommendations related to the coronavirus took hold across the country.
"Some of the employees had been traveling and others are at home looking after children who have been in kindergarten and schools," Aastrid Aam, head of communications at Cermaq -- which operated at reduced capacity this week -- told IntraFish.
