Canada's Prince Edward Island lobster fishermen are hoping to ride out a "tough, tough year" of rough weather and low catches, reported the CBC.
Prices are currently at CAD 6.50 ($5/€4.50) for canners and $7 ($5.40/€4.90) for markets, the article said, and "the price, whatever we're getting for them, it's well-earned," said PEI Fishermen's Association President Craig Avery.
Currently, about 1,000 fishermen are out on the water and Avery estimated that his catch alone would be about 25 percent less than last season.
