Despite prices going up slightly the week prior, Norwegian farmed salmon prices are sinking back down headed into the next week.
A week ago, exporters and farmers reported salmon was selling for more than NOK 50 (€4.90/$5.80) per kilo, but the level didn't hold.
One exporter is still purchasing fish for NOK 50 (€4.90/$5.80) from last week, however, he reported fish of 3-6 kilograms selling for NOK 46 (€4.47/$5.42)
