Norwegian salmon prices dropped again in week 43 by NOK 2.75 (€0.29/$0.34) per kilo on average, down 5.2 percent compared with the week prior, according to the latest figures from Nasdaq.
The average price per kilo of Norwegian salmon for the week was at NOK 49.97 (€5.20/$6.10), nearly 15 percent lower than three months ago.
In the past 12 weeks the average price has fallen by NOK 8.39 (€0.88/$1) per kilo on average, said Nasdaq.
Compared with a month ago, prices were down NOK 5.09
