Prices for Norwegian Atlantic salmon prices are slumping into next week, with drops expected to be as severe as NOK 15 (€1.60/$1.80) per kilo.
"I'm glad I didn't buy more fish last Friday or else I'd lose NOK 15 (€1.60/$1.80) per kg on some of the sizes," one exporter told IntraFish. "It's a bit uncertain where the price will end up today, but it's probably not more than NOK 65 (€6.90/$7.80) per kg."
This past week exporters were asking for up to NOK 80 (€8.50/$9.50)
