Sea scallop prices for the sizes tracked by IntraFish on the Gloucester & New Bedford Frozen auction finally budged in week 10, after staying unchanged for five weeks.
The prices for U/10 scallops sold in 5-pound blocks fell by $0.50 (€0.47) to $2.25 (€2.11); prices for U/12 fell by $0.25 (€0.23) to $20.00 (€18.72); and prices for 20/30 plummeted by $1.00 (€0.94) to $12.25 (€11.47). However, 10/20 scallops jumped up by $0.63 (€0.59) to $14.38 (€13.46).
