Prices for Chilean salmon headed into the United States continued their climb in week 32, along with prices of salmon into Brazil and China, according to figures from DataSalmon.
Average wholesale prices for D trim Atlantic salmon shipped from Chile into the United States was $4.95 (€4.47) per pound.
The wholesale price for head-on size 10-12 salmon going into the Brazilian increased by $0.02 (€0.02) per kilo, to an average $6.00 (€5.42) per kilo.
Prices for salmon headed to China increased by $0.13(€0.12)
