Prices for Chilean salmon exported to the United States fell in week 21, more than correcting last week's increase, according to the latest figures from DataSalmon.

Prices for average D trim Chilean salmon heading into the US fell by $0.14 (€0.13) to $5.79 (€5.20) per pound.

Head-on whole salmon 10-12 wholesale into Brazil also fell, but only slightly, by $0.04 (€0.04) to $7.89 (€7.10) per kilo.

Prices for frozen H&G coho to the Japanese market remained static at JPY 865 (€7.00/$7.90) per kilo, the same price as week 18.
