King & Prince, owned by Japanese seafood giant Nippon Suisan Kaisha (Nissui), has hired Jenni Justiz-Quinones as its Research and Development (R&D) director.

She will lead the company's R&D team for innovation, building customer engagement and driving profitable business growth, the company said.

Justiz-Quinones takes on the role with over 15 years experience in the food and consumer goods industry. She previously worked for SC Johnson, which produces major cleaning products such as Windex, as an R&D senior manager.

She also previously served as group leader in the foodservice R&D division for Kraft Foods, which produces popular US products such as Oscar Mayer Lunchables.

With three production facilities in the United States, King & Prince touts itself as one of the country's largest seafood companies. The company is a subsidiary of Nissui, the second-largest seafood company in the world by revenues.
