Canada-based seafood supplier High Liner Foods CEO Rod Hepponstall is resigning from his position, the company announced Tuesday. His reason for departing was not provided by the company.

He will step down on or before Jan. 2, 2024, and the company will now begin an internal and external search for a new president and CEO.

Hepponstall has acted as director, president and CEO of High Liner Foods since May 2018 when he took over from High Liner Chairman Henry Demone, who himself assumed the role of interim CEO after the departure of Keith Decker.
