While the firm says it is satisfied the Norwegian salmon industry and the European Commission (EC) agreed on a provisional MIP on Norwegian salmon, senior consultant Poul Melgaard Jensen does not believe the Norwegians have sold themselves off too cheaply.
“A compromise was the only possible avenue such as the situation had developed,” he told IntraFish.
