Young’s Seafood is appointing three people to take on the roles of Mike Mitchell, who, as the seafood processor announced in October, will be taking more of a backseat position in the company.

According to a spokesperson for Young’s, David Parker, previously a marine biologist at the company, will take on the role of head of corporate social responsibility (CSR).

Meanwhile, Darren Andrews is appointed to technical director for the company’s Marks & Spencer business.

In his new role Andrews will take on accountability for the application and development of Marks & Spencer technical standards across Grimsby, Pinneys and Fraserburgh, said the spokesperson.
