Yihe's renewed partnership with its financial partner Resource One appears to be working, as the pair grows The New Yihe Corporation, sourcing all its salmon from Alaska processing company Silver Bay.
The next two months will be crucial, however, said Michael Klein, Resource One's vice president of sales.
"In the next 60 days, all of our customer base will be in review for bid process," Klein told IntraFish.
Throughout a tumultuous receivership last year, CEO Steven Chen and Resource One's executives were able to maintain "uninterrupted business" with 20 of its key retailers and the company is now focusing on new product lines, new species and new relationships in the United States.
