The Foreign Affairs and Commerce ministries have urged these industries to provide information on employment and working conditions for Thai and immigrant workers to the U.S. Department of Labor during its public hearing period, which ends Dec 10.
The three industries are all key exporters, but they have been listed together with the sex industry in the department's latest report this month as using child labour or forced labor.
The U.S. prohibits state organizations from purchasing products made with child and forced labor in 141 countries.
