“Most of us in the aquaculture world have the attitude these guys all want to get into algae and they’re ignoring the whole aquaculture world, where you’ve got an entire industry of people who know how to manage algae, who know how to get small things out of large volumes of water,” Kevin Fitzsimmons of the University of Arizona and the American Tilapia Association.
“Currently, all of the successful algae operations are in the aquaculture world, either growing algae and seaweed, or for managing blooms in ponds.
