Whitby Seafoods recently launched its rebranded retail packaging, drawing inspiration from brands such as GU and Dorset Cereals to stand apart from its competitors.
As part of the new rebranding, Whitby also added two new products to its line-up: breaded and battered cod and smoked haddock.
“We wanted to move away from just the standard photo of scampi, and move towards something more eye-catching,” Laura Whittle, CEO of Whitby Seafoods, told IntraFish.
“Products in the frozen aisle have a tendency to all look the same, like out of a factory line, and we wanted our packaging to have an informal tone.
