While reports are shellfish prices will rise as a result of fewer oysters from Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Florida, that might not translate into higher prices for suppliers of shellfish from the West Coast and other regions.
“As for oyster prices, the farmed shellfish out here aren't as erratically market-driven-priced as finfish, so I wouldn't expect any big price swings.
