This is a threat the supermarket chains should take seriously, but not so seriously they do not dare to challenge the environmental organization. Greenpeace should be able to explain to the consumers and supermarket chains exactly what they mean by sustainable seafood.
In an interview with IntraFish, campaign leader Oliver Knowles said they will single out the supermarkets that sell over-harvested fish, fish from areas where the sea and sea bottom is depleted, or fish that are a result of excessive bycatches.
