So while the situation was bad for Black Pearl Seafoods, CEO Dick Martin knows it could have been far worse.

“We were so, so lucky. We had all our production either landing Wednesday night last week or on the way to the processing plants – none of our production was going into Heathrow, so we did not get stuck, like so many others who had significant tonnage tucked away at Heathrow ready to fly but going nowhere,” Martin told IntraFish on Thursday.
