Norwegian salmon producer Villa Organic reported a drop in its first quarter revenue from NOK 222.4 million (€29.2 million/$38.1 million) last year to NOK 190.6 million (€25 million/$32.6 million) this year. Last year's figures include returns of NOK 87.6 million (€11.5 million/$15 million) from sales of production licenses, biomass and other assets, the company said.
Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) totaled to NOK 36.2 million (€4.7 million/$6.2 million), down from NOK 92.1 million (€12.1 million/$15.8 million) for the same quarter last year.
