Vigo is still the leader in frozen seafood in Spain, housing 20 out of the 90 most important companies in the country, according to a new report from Alimarket.
Out of the top 10 national companies, seven of them are in Vigo, reported Atlantico.net.
These include Pescanova in first place, followed by Profand, Pescapuerta, Grupo Ibérica de Congelados, Pereira and Mascato.
Fandicosta, located in Moana, took ninth place, and the three remaining are from Huelva, Getafe and Cartagena, according to Alimarket’s report on the economic sector in Spain.
