An overview prepared by the Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC) reveals there are ASC-certified sites in four countries: Chile, Australia, Norway and Scotland.
Chile has one ASC certification; Mainstream Chile’s production site at Unicornio Sur.
In Australia the six certifications all belong to Tassal, which has ASC-certification on all its production sites. Three of these sites have a cluster-certification.
In Norway, Leroy Aurora has nine ASC-certified sites and Leroy Midt has two. Marine Harvest has eight ASC-certified sites. The twentieth certification was recently achieved by Villa Organic.
