The value of shrimp is down again at UK retailers, dropping 3.9 percent for the 52 weeks through Jan. 31, according to the latest Nielsen data.

Sales of shrimp fell to £411.9 million (€568.4 million/$605.5 million), down from the £428.5 million (€591.3 million/$629.9 million) recorded in the same period the year before.

The volume of sales also took a decrease, falling 14.3 percent to 32,286 metric tons, compared to the previous year, which saw 37,219 metric tons sold.
