Virginia-based foodservice distributor Performance Food Group (PFG) Company announced in its third quarter report on Wednesday it "secured Red Lobster as a new customer to [its] customized segment,"
PFG's multi-year distribution agreement includes 670 Red Lobster restaurants in the United States. PFG's service to Red Lobster starts the first and second quarters of 2017.
The company anticipates Red Lobster's restaurant network will substantially "overlap with PFG Customized’s existing business, which enables [them] to increase sales by over half a billion dollars annually from within Customized’s current network of distribution centers."
