Atlantic salmon prices from Norway are seeing a slight rise week-on-week however market demand remains low.
"The price is probably slightly up today," one European importer told IntraFish Friday. "This is not due to market demand, but because of poor weather in the north. This means there was probably less slaughter than planned. In the middle of the week we bought salmon NOK 2 (€0.24/$0.30) under current prices."
Exporters in Norway reiterated this pictures, reporting of slight increases in the upcoming week compared to prices last Friday.
