Ukrainian agribusiness company Myronivsky Hliboproduct (MHP) might not be a familiar name in the seafood world, but it could be Europe’s version of Thai-based agri-giant Charoen Phokphand Foods in the future.
In a recent VASEP report, MHP director Yuriy Kosyuk has indicated interest in investing in Vietnam's pangasius farms. His comments came after a group of representatives from MHP visited pangasius exporter Anvifish's facilities in Sept. 2012.
The two parties are working on developing sales of pangasius into Ukraine, according to Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Processors (VASEP).
