A UK–based tilapia farm is looking to boost its sales so it can make the most of its currently underutilized production capacity.

The Fish Company --  through its two neighboring farms based in Lincolnshire in the United Kingdom -- has the capacity to produce roughly 260 metric tons of tilapia each year. This year, however, the company is only likely to produce around 156 metric tons in total.

“More tons could be produced but the key is getting the sales,” Richard Beckett, farm manager at the company, told IntraFish.
