Yo! Sushi is a London-area staple, with several dozen units open in the United Kingdom, mostly in the capital city, but now the chain is dipping its toes into the US market — a transition that’s been simultaneously smooth and challenging.
The chain opened its first US store in a mall in Paramus, New Jersey, about 22 miles north of New York City and its second store in Sarasota, Florida, 60 miles south of Tampa. Two more — one in New Jersey and one in Florida — are set to open this year, along with ones in Boston and New York state.
