Marko Partners’ latest Seafood Intelligence Report revealed the price of Icelandic haddock and cod had increased by 10.6 percent and 2.6 percent in the first four months of the year, respectively.
According to the figures, which are based on calculated live weight estimates, haddock’s total exported live weight price rose 10.6 percent from €1.69 ($2.30) to €1.87 ($2.50), with cod also experiencing a small increase, the total exported live weight price up 2.6 percent from €1.32 ($1.80) to €1.35 ($1.80).
