The value of seafood sales in the UK for the year ending in September rose to £3.2 billion (€3.9 billion/$5.1 billion), a slight increase of 1.3 percent from the previous year’s total of £3.1 billion (€3.9 billion/$5 billion), but volumes continued to drop, according to recently released Nielsen statistics.
