The United Kingdom's National Federation of Fishermens Organization (NFFO) this week hit out at environmental groups over their response to the pivotal June Fisheries Council meeting in Luxembourg on Common Fisheries Policy (CFP) reform.
The federation accuses the green NGOs of making a “ritual” response to the reform agenda by saying that the Council of Ministers’ agreement on a 'general approach' to CFP reform does not go far enough and that the timetable is too slow.
