Total value of sales for haddock this year came to £3.9 billion (€5 billion/$6.2 billion), a drop of 14.5 percent from the previous year’s total of £4.5 billion (€5.8 billion/$7.2 billion).
The volume of sales also took a large hit, dropping 21.5 percent to 380,515 metric tons, down from 484,631 metric tons.
